Por las tardes es ideal para tomarte una cerveza bien fría. Abre hasta las 16:00, perfecto si sales tarde del curro o quieres alargar la sobremesa. Los lunes a jueves cierra los domingos y sábados, pero los viernes suele haber buen ambiente.

Friendly and pretty café owner! Google map says it is a lounge. I find it more like a café. I guess it is a family run café. Clean and tidy and lovely. Owners are friendly, handsome and pretty. We are just looking for a place to rest and have some cold drinks in a hot summer morning. The moment I walk into the café, the nice smell of coffee and tea struct me by surprise. It brings me back to my childhood sitting in a typical Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng in the 1980s. Back then, many of the old style Cha Chaan Teng have semi open kitchen that the of smell of coffee and tea (Cha Chou - meaning tea with condensed milk rather than sugar) fill up the whole café. What a heart warming surprise! As it is not yet lunch time when we visit, we just order sparkling water and espresso. The coffee is very good. And, I judge by the enjoyment of other local customers having their meal, the food is also good. Maybe I will come back and try next time. After the trip, I say to myself that Mallorca is a great place for blue flag beaches and nice seafood in a hot summer. But, there are other places of similar qualities. So, I may not visit again very soon. Perhaps, the smell of childhood memory will be a magic spell sending me back straight into Calviá one day... especially that Hong Kong is now a broken city and I may never go back.
